Would You Hire Yourself?

This is Caroline Ceniza-Levine and Connie Thanasoulis-Cerrachio from SixFigureStart® and we have a groundbreaking event to share with you.

If your career is NOT where you want it to be, or where you believe it should be, AND you are ready for a change but are unsure what to do or how to proceed, then you are in the right place.

“Get Expert Ideas, Guidance and Encouragement So You Know Precisely What to do – No More Wondering What Your Next Move Should Be, What You’re Doing Wrong, or How to Achieve the Career Success You Deserve.”

Next Generation Career Success:
Would you hire yourself?

  • If you had a business, would you hire yourself as a team member?
  • If you were a manager, would you give yourself a raise?
  • If you were a customer looking for a service provider, would you buy from yourself?

You want the answer to ALL of these questions to be a resounding YES.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Although you’ve experienced some success in your career, you aren’t as passionate as you hoped you’d be when you reached this level – you feel like your job is a vocation rather than a calling
  • You know you’re ready for a career change, but you aren’t sure what that is or how to decide on your next move
  • You have tried making several different changes in your career – maybe switching departments, switching companies, or switching jobs all together – but to no avail, and you really want to find the right fit for you
  • You’d LOVE guidance to experience career satisfaction, but you’re too busy to get coaching and besides, you don’t know how to find the right coach (and doing so would take even more time)

If it does, you’re not alone. So many people experience what you’re going through.

The thing is, change can be exciting, exhilarating and promising – but it can also be scary.

Right now, with the economy in so much chaos, change can be even scarier. But it doesn’t have to be.

That’s where we come in.

We’re Caroline Ceniza-Levine and Connie Thanasoulis-Cerrachio, founders of SixFigureStart®.  Here’s why we are well positioned to help you:

  • We are both former recruiters with a combined 40 years of experience.
  • We have hired and developed the careers of tens of thousands of people so we know exactly how employers decide who to hire, promote, grant raises to, and assign the plum projects.
  • We’ve recruited for corporations including Citibank, Disney ABC, Time, Inc., Pfizer, and Merrill Lynch (to name a few)
  • We’ve appeared as career experts on ABC.com, NBC.com, CBS, NPR and in Businessweek, Newsweek, Real Simple.

Aside from our big-name experience, we’ve also been in your shoes, so we know where you’re coming from.

Connie’s Story

I’ve been in Corporate America for 25 years, the first 5 in marketing, the past 2 decades in recruiting. At Citigroup, I was the Global Head of University Relations for Campus Recruiting. I moved to Warner Lambert (which became Pfizer) and ran Campus Recruiting and worked on Experienced Recruiting as well. Merrill then recruited me to be the Head of Staffing for their Global Asset Management Business. In addition, I ran experienced recruiting for Wealth Management Services.  In short, I’ve hired tens of thousands of people during my 2 decades in recruiting, and I’ve helped develop the careers of many of those new hires – I know exactly why some people are hired and others are not.  I know exactly why some progress through an organization and others do not. In addition to recruiting new employees, I’ve networked with recruiters from dozens of other companies, so I know what works and what doesn’t. I teach professional development at Columbia University and help master’s level students direct their career efforts. I become an advocate for my clients, ensuring they reach their potential, because career success is about learning a distinct group of skills – that is it.  It’s not rocket science.  It’s about being an effective communicator and networker.  This is my niche and I enjoy seeing my clients succeed.

Caroline’s Story

I’m an extreme career changer. I’ve worked in the arts then in business and then back to the arts and back to business again. I’ve owned my own businesses and worked in corporate America, in big and small companies. I studied piano at Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music, and was an economics/music major at Barnard. I interned as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, and then moved to strategy consulting and then retained executive search. I left corporate and became an actor – getting my SAG (Screen Actors Guild) eligibility, doing extra work and appearing in off/off Broadway shows. I freelanced as a recruiter, started coaching, and started teaching at Columbia University (where I still teach today). I also worked as a recruiter at Time Inc. before starting SixFigureStart®. So, just like Connie, I’ve hired thousands of people and I know what employers look for and what effective career success strategies look like.  I’ve also made difficult career moves myself so I know what it takes. I’ve looked at careers from a firsthand perspective (my own) from an employer’s perspective (as a recruiter) and from the teaching perspective (as an adjunct at Columbia). I know what works and can explain it in a way that is helpful and actionable.

We’ve turned our experience into expertise. We now coach people just like you – through private coaching, group workshops, audio coaching and our new book, Six Steps To Job Search Success, 2011 Flat World Knowledge  – so you can embrace change, drive your career, and enjoy the results.

The world IS in chaos right now. But in chaos lies opportunity – your chance to make sense of it all in a way that uniquely suits you and benefits you.

Our passion for helping you find clarity and career fulfillment led us to create a brand-new, absolutely FREE video summit, “Next Generation Career Success,” scheduled to start September 26 at 12pm EST.
