Key Takeways where you may get stuck without even realizing it:

Storytelling - do your stories "talk at" or "talk about stories" that will make a great story ?
Putting the horse before the cart - are you focused more on the job than getting the offer ? Employer needs to buy who you are first.
Undervalue Yourself - Really think through and revisit all your professional experiences to date. You do have value to offer the new employer and are a valuable asset.

Get the right career coaching to help you get "unstuck" in your job search !

What a great session. I've gotten bogged down by thoughts like "is this company really right for me" and identifying all reasons why an opportunity might not be a good fit. Unfortunately, if you've ever felt trapped in a job, this is an easy mindset to fall into. That's why it was so helpful to hear "don't worry if you'll like it, just get the offer first". Getting an offer definitely requires that you appear 100% committed. My career has been a series of jobs/promotions in one company, where it was supposedly taboo to interview for a position you didn''t plan to take if offered. I've been acting as though this "rule" still exists. I can now see that it doesn't. Thanks Connie and Caroline!
